Thought this looks useful. I might push to use it in our environment periodically as part of an in-house health check to evaluate if write cache storage requirements from the users have changed.

New HDX monitor
Looks like if you have the monitor installed, there's an update that fixes some misreporting and allows for better export of data.
From the TWEETS: "CitrixLicensing: Citrix Blog: New HDX Monitor 2.0 update now available http://t.co/8BulCXde #citrix" --http://twitter.com/CitrixLicensing/status/124931324472598529

Not virtual in any way
This isn't something that I would normally post here, but I feel that it's invaluable to understand what Tony writes to be the best we can be.

Xenappaudit rc available
Looks like a neat tool for aggregating log and error information. I'll write a comment if I get a chance to try it out.

Application Virtualization Smackdown by Ruben Spruijt
I like these smackdowns that Ruben and company put together. They actually list out relevant considerations when choosing what option best fits your use case. I think that does justice to addressing the complexity of the discussion.

Considerations when Updating an #AppV Read-only (Shared) Cache | StealthPuppy
As I transition between jobs, my coworker asked why we use a Read-Only Cache in our VDI environment and how the symbolic links fit in. I didn't have a neat, tidy answer, but fortunately for me Aaron Parker did. The following is a good explanation of the process around updating the Read-Only Shared Cache for App-V and also what symbolic links are good for.

XenServer 6.0 released
For anyone on XenServer, they just released a brand new version. The improvements read as fairly significant. The installation procedure utilizes an upgrade wizard, which to this guy, having never used XenServer, seems from the documentation like a new option. It even has a prereqs check with a mitigation option, which should ideally make the process so easy anyone should be able to do it. (right?) They still recommend you backup your database before beginning the upgrade.
